On Thursday, December 29, 2016 Parkway Youth Hockey will have the following open practices at Roche Rink.

 
  • 6 PM:  Mites, Squirts, U10
  • 7 PM:  McLaughlin League
  • 8 PM:  Pee Wees, Bantams, U12, U14
 
Any coach able to help out at a session is asked to email Joe Donahue at jmdonahue@rcn.com

Parkway Hockey Celebration - December 27, 7pm to 10pm

Please stop by the Roche Rink this coming Tuesday evening (Dec 27th) to join our Bantam and Midget teams as we hold our annual holiday celebration.
 
Here are the events taking place on Tuesday night:
 
Futures Game (7pm to 8pm)
Friendly scrimmage between Bantam & 1st year Midget players.
 
Open Family Skate (8pm to 9pm)
Parkway players of all level, friends, and family members are welcomed skate on the ice during this hour. Food and drinks will be served in the lobby during this hour. Families of the Midget team will be raffling off gift baskets to raise money for their upcoming CAN/AM tournament in Montreal.
 
Alumni Game (9pm to 10pm)
Former players and coaches will be suiting up against this year's Midget Montreal tournament team. Winners of the gift basket raffles will be announced.

Bantam B2 Wins Mayors Cup!

Last night in Dorchester Parkway Youth Hockey captured its first Mayor's Cup championship of this year's tournament.  Congratulations to the Bantam B2 team!  Players:  Owen Duffy, John Earley, Neal Gaffney, Zachary Graham, Dymari Guillaume, Isaiah Gullage, David Lemmel Jr, Zirui Luo, Sean McCarthy, Jack McGurn, Brendan O'Brien and Ezra Taub.  Coaches/Managers:  Mike O'Brien, Jack McCarthy, Chris Graham, David Lemmel Sr.

Mayor's Cup Congrats

The Mayor’s Cup tournament wrapped up this past weekend + Parkway had a great showing in the Finals.  Congrats to the Mite C, Squirt C1, Squirt C2, Peewee C1, Peewee C2, Bantam B, + Bantam A teams on being finalists for this year’s tournament.

A special congratulations to the Mite A team, who came home with a victory over South Boston at the TD Garden to bring home the trophy!  Players: Marcus Tobin, Roman Martell-Hernandez, Sean Joyce, Jack Dunning, Coleman Donovan, Stephen Rousell, Will Thompson, Matthew Kelly, Colby Gaffey, Aaron Alves-Thomas, Morgan Barbuto, Jack Norton, Joe Olson, and Timmy Keane

Boston Neighborhood Network announces several ways to view the 2016 Mayors Cup Hockey games.

2) Purchase a copy of a game at the following link: https://goo.gl/oa6NvC
Cost is $20 for either an HD (high definition) 720p download, or a SD (standard definition) DVD that will be mailed to you. Once the order is placed, we will contact you to ask which version you prefer. Downloads will be available for 7 days from date of purchase. Preliminary games are not available in HD.

Northeastern Univ Tickets for PYH Families - 2/18 at 7pm

Greetings Parkway Youth Hockey parents/players,

Northeastern University and it's Athletics and City & Community Affairs office are offering again free complimentary tickets to the Northeastern University vs University of Connecticut men's hockey game on Saturday 02/18/2016 at 7:00 PM at Northeastern's Matthews Arena (238-262 St. Botolph Street, Boston, MA 02115) to Parkway Youth Hockey players/parents.

Matthews Arena - Free parking - Camden Lot. Located off of Camden St., which can be reached via Columbus Ave. This lot is open on a first come, first served basis to the general public and there is no fee to park here. The Camden Lot opens one hour and 30 minutes before every home event at Matthews Arena. Once you have parked your vehicle, the arena can be reached by taking the foot bridge over the MBTA tracks.

For those that are interested please email Dave Isberg at d.isberg@neu.edu and please provide the parent or guardian's name (which will be used at the will call window for ticket pickup) and the desired amount of tickets. Big thanks to Northeastern University for offering this opportunity to our hockey players and families.

BLS---Ana's Pals Hockey Game

This Saturday (Feb 4th) the BOSTON LATIN boys varsity Hockey team and the girls varsity team play back to back games. Boys at the Murphy Rink @2pm (South Boston), Girls play @ 4pm at Matthews Arena (NU). 
 
Both games are being played 
in honor of
Anna Jerome and Walter Thom 
 Members of the BLS class of 2017
 
Both Anna and Walter passed away from cancer while at BLS 
and both have many friends on each hockey team. 
 
 
Both Hockey teams are dedicating 50% of the door proceeds to Ana's Pals.
  Ana's Pals is a foundation established by the Jerome family to fund research for pediatric cancer.

Roxbury Latin School Neighborhood Free-Skate

When: Sunday, February 12, 2:00-4:00 PM

Where: Roxbury Latin’s Indoor Athletic Facility

The Roxbury Latin School invites the West Roxbury community to the first “Neighborhood Free Skate” in the school’s recently opened Indoor Athletic Facility on Sunday, February 12, 2:00-4:00 PM. Admission is free. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided.

Hockey sticks are not permitted for this event.
