Goalie Camp Reimbursement for the 2011-12 Season
Parkway Youth Hockey is pleased to remind our members that we will reimburse parents up to $300 if their child attended a goalie camp during the 2011-12 season.
To be eligible, your child must have attended and completed a goaltender's camp, and played as a rostered goalie for their designated Parkway Youth Hockey Travel team for the 2011-2012 season.
Each participant should send their proof of completion to Nick Favorito (dantef1a@comcast.net) by March 31st in order to be reimbursed for the cost of one goalie camp up to $300.
All reimbursements will be made after the conclusion of the 2011-2012 season.

House Program Registrations are Filling Up Fast- Register Now!!!
Registration for Learn to Skate, Instructional Hockey, Mite House and McLaughlin Development League programs will be available online on Saturday September 15, 2012.
From 9/15/2012 to 10/15/2012, only Parkway residents (residents from Jamaica Plain, Roslindale and West Roxbury) or returning House players will be allowed to register.
On Tuesday 10/16/2012 at 10:00 AM, registration for all house programs will be open to all interested skaters until these programs are full.
Learn to Skate, Instructional Hockey and Mite House programs will begin the first weekend of November and run thru March 2013. Start dates for the McLaughlin Development League will be announced at a later date.

McLaughlin Development League Information for the 2012-13 Season
The McLaughlin Development League will be accepting registrations for the 2012-2013 season starting Saturday, September 15th.
The McLaughlin League is designed as an “in house” program for players at the Squirt and Mite level, for both travel and non travel players. We strongly encourage ALL Squirt level players not currently assigned to a travel team to enroll and participate in this league. Both travel and house players are encouraged to play together in the McLaughlin League, as we feel it promotes player development, camaraderie and teamwork, and encourages skaters to work on their game skills and enhance their abilities in a competitive and friendly environment. The program normally starts in November, and runs through the end of March. The schedule consists mainly of Friday night games played at 5:00, 6:00 or 7:00pm at the Roche Memorial Ice Arena, and Saturday practices at the Bajko rink in Hyde Park from 1pm to 1:50pm.
Recently, the PYH Board of Directors met and approved the following changes to enhance and improve the experience for players in the McLaughlin League:

- All PYH travel players at the Mite level are eligible to play. Mite House players are not eligible to play.
- Players at the Pee Wee level are not permitted to play in the McLaughlin League at this time.

Parkway Youth Hockey is an organization that maintains and runs a hockey program open to and inclusive of all interested youth of the Parkway area: i.e. West Roxbury, Roslindale, and Jamaica Plain. The program is designed to teach and develop hockey skills at all times emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork and responsibility in the overall context of having fun. Parkway Squirt A Wins District 1 Championship!
The Parkway Squirt A team defeated Dorchester 6-1 and claimed the Mass. Hockey District 1 Tier II Championship. Great effort by all and congratulations - now it's on to the State Tournament!

Checking Clinics for 2nd Year PeeWee's
O'Sullivan Hockey will be holding Checking Clinics for our 2nd Year PeeWee's (Birth Year=2000) at all Wed. night Skills sessions during the month of February.
These Checking Clinics are designed to prepare our 2nd Year PeeWee's for the Bantam Tryouts which will be held in March. Mouth pieces are required for these Checking Clinics and for the Bantam Tryouts.
1st Year PeeWee's will have their normal skills and will not participate in the Checking Clinics.
